CNP Invisible Peeling Booster was first introduced in 2014 by CNP Laboratory, a leading Korean skin clinic to help their patients prolong the result after skin treatment. After being introduced in Singapore a year ago, it has finally arrived in Malaysia!
CNP Invisible Peeling Booster
From the packaging, you can somehow get an idea that the product comes from a skin clinic. This is because the design is simple and minimalistic with no-nonsense fancy stuff; giving it a sense of reliability during first impression.
CNP Invisible Peeling Booster
CNP Invisible Peeling Booster comes in a plastic pump bottle. I’d say that it’s good because it minimize the probability of breaking the bottle and waste the precious product.
The pump is necessary to dispense CNP Invisible Peeling Booster because its consistency is slightly thicker than toner (i.e. something in between toner and serum). Besides, it is more hygienic to use since the content of the product will not come in contact with your palm or cotton pad.
It took me quite a while to start reviewing it because I didn’t want the results to be affected by the environment I’m in. Hence, I only started after I came back from my Bangkok trip. Normally, my face will feel rough and dry after a trip. It’s the perfect time to try this product! After using it for 2 weeks straight, I did notice that my complexion is less dull.
I use 2 pumps for my whole face and applied it using my hands since I didn’t want the product to be absorbed by cotton pad. Initially, I applied it twice a day after washing my face but I figured that it’s better to just use it in the evening to prevent hyperpigmentation (just in case).
3 Reasons Why You Should Use CNP Invisible Peeling Booster
- Exfoliation is Important!
One of the most important but also most neglected step in skincare regime is exfoliation. Since it’s only recommended to scrub once to twice a week, a habit cannot be formed. Hence, we always forgot to scrub or sometimes too lazy to do so. Sure, the sense of satisfaction is higher when using facial scrub but it could be too harsh for our delicate skin. We have treat our skin with TLC especially when it turned mature. With CNP Invisible Peeling Booster, we can use it everyday to gently remove dead skin cells, stimulate rebirth of new skin cells and enhance absorption of skincare products.
- Cutting-edge Formula
Instead of using Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) which could be too harsh for the skin, CNP Laboratory formulated this product using Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA). It contains active ingredient, Gluconolactone that is more gentle to the skin.
- Boost Skin Hydration
The Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) Complex in the product hydrates the skin and regulates sebum production. It also contains CNP Anti-Irritant Complex to reduce skin redness and promote blood circulation. Radiant skin is revealed.
The instructions say to use the product after cleansing in both the morning and evening. However, since this is a chemical exfoliant, I decided to take things a little more slowly:
Weeks 1 & 2: Every other night after cleansing
Weeks 3 & 4: Every night after cleansing
Week 5 onward: Every night after pH adjusting toner
I pump the product twice into my palm, spread it between my hands, and press my hands to my face. Note that this is already a generous amount for my wide face and not-so-petite hands, so I imagine most people would be fine with just one pump.
Once applied to the skin, the product becomes sticky as it dries, and eventually forms a thin film. The film goes away if I put another product on top.
I found the Invisible Peeling Booster to be slowly but surely exfoliating. My nose and chin have always had a slightly bumpy texture, from what I assume is dried sebum and/or keratin deposits on top of SFs.
Once I started using the Invisible Peeling Booster daily, these areas were smoothed out. My skin also looks a little brighter overall, and my PIH is less noticeable.
I haven’t noticed much progress on my CCs, but I figured those would take longer to get rid of with such gentle exfoliation (and I might need to add a BHA to finish the job).
At no point did I experience any irritation or dryness from this product. In fact, I was quite pleased with its hydrating abilities on my combination oily skin.
I’ve found that I don’t need to apply moisturizer afterward, which has proven very convenient–I can just go to bed instead of dealing with wait time! This is probably not the best idea for dry folks though.
